Straight from the region to Hamburg Airport
Not living in the heart of Hamburg but somewhere in the surrounding belt? Then you know the pre-flight question well: how do you get to Hamburg Airport (HAM) in Fuhlsbüttel reliably, with luggage, family and a tight schedule? From the south the route usually runs through the Elbe tunnel or the Elbe bridges. From Seevetal plan around 30 minutes, from Buchholz in der Nordheide and Winsen (Luhe) with its castle about 40 minutes. From the Hanseatic town of Buxtehude it is a similar 40 minutes, from Lüneburg with its lovely old town around 50 minutes, and from Stade by the old harbour about 55 minutes.
