Private airport transfer to The Fontenay
The Fontenay stands on Fontenay right at the Außenalster, in the quiet villa district between Rotherbaum and Harvestehude. From Hamburg Airport (HAM) it is about 9 km, which a private transfer covers door to door in roughly 20 to 30 minutes.
The route from HAM
From the airport the drive runs via Alsterkrugchaussee and the lakeside roads to the western shore of the Außenalster. The distance is short but can drag during rush hour around the lake. The fixed price from 98 euros is set in advance and stays the same whatever the traffic.
Pickup and meeting point
At HAM your driver waits by default directly after baggage claim in the arrivals area with a name sign and helps with your luggage. Up to 90 minutes of waiting after landing are included, and with your flight number the pickup adjusts to a late arrival.

From the hotel it is a few minutes' walk to the Außenalster, to the stylish Pöseldorf quarter with its galleries and cafés, or into the green Alster park. The transfer drops you right at the entrance on the quiet side street, so you avoid a detour via larger stops with your luggage.
Early flights, late arrivals and the return
In this rather secluded, upmarket district a fixed transfer is especially convenient at night or for an early departure, as local transport is sparse here. For the return you are collected at the hotel at the agreed time and taken to the correct HAM terminal in good time.
