Private airport transfer to The Westin Hamburg in the Elbphilharmonie
The Westin Hamburg is located inside the Elbphilharmonie on Platz der Deutschen Einheit in HafenCity, right on the Elbe. From Hamburg Airport (HAM) it is about 11 km, which a private transfer covers door to door in roughly 25 to 35 minutes – down through the city centre to the Kaiserkai.
The route from HAM
The drive runs from the airport via Alsterkrugchaussee and the city into HafenCity. HafenCity has many one-way streets and building sites; the driver knows the approach to the Kaiserkai and drops you at the right entrance. The fixed price from 98 euros is set in advance.
Pickup and meeting point
At HAM you meet your driver by default directly after baggage claim in the arrivals area with a name sign. Up to 90 minutes of waiting after landing are included, and with your flight number the pickup adjusts to delays.
Location: HafenCity, Speicherstadt and Landungsbrücken
From the hotel you can walk to the Elbphilharmonie plaza, the Speicherstadt with its brick canals and the Elbe promenade; the Landungsbrücken lie on the opposite bank. As parking in HafenCity is scarce and expensive, being dropped right at the entrance is particularly practical.
Early flights, late arrivals and the return
Hauling luggage across HafenCity's escalators and walkways to the nearest underground is tiring – a transfer brings you straight to the door, even at night. For the return you are collected at the agreed time and taken to the correct HAM terminal in good time.
For culture travellers, families and groups
For a concert visit, a family trip or a group you choose the vehicle class up to a 19-seat minibus. Child seats are available on request, you see the luggage capacity when booking, and an invoice with company details is available for business travel.
You can pay by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and – depending on the transfer provider and route – in cash to the driver. For certain vehicles or larger minibuses an online deposit may be required. The payment methods available for your ride are shown before you complete the booking.
